Momme is a Japanese unit of measurement for the quality of silk. The higher the momme, the thicker the fabric. Thicker fabrics are generally more durable and feel cooler in warm weather. Momme is simply a unit of weight, similar to karat for gold or g/m² or thread count for cotton.
How many grams per square meter is the equivalent of momme?
1 momme is approximately equal to 4.31 g/m². So 22 momme is approximately 100 g/m².
What are the products made of?
Our scrunchies, sleep masks and other products are made of the highest quality mulberry silk. The products are handmade with great attention to detail. The scrunchies are made of 100% mulberry silk of 22 momme.

Are the products sustainable?
It takes 20,000 liters of water to produce 1 kilo of cotton. In contrast, the production of 1 kilo of silk requires significantly less water, making it much more sustainable and environmentally friendly. We strive to minimize our impact on the environment. Our products are 100% safe and certified. We have passed all SGS tests and inspections and all our products are OEKO-TEX certified.

To initiate a return, please email us at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return. Please note that we do not accept returns on opened or used products. Should there be a defect on the product, please send us some photos so we can help you as best as possible.
