What is momme?
Momme is a Japanese unit of measurement that indicates the quality of silk. The higher the momme, the thicker the fabric. Thicker fabric tends to be more durable and feels cooler in hot weather. Momme is simply a weight measurement, similar to carat for gold or g/m2 or thread count for cotton.
What is the equivalent of momme in grams per square meter?
1 momme is approximately equal to 4.31 g/m2. Therefore, 22 momme is approximately 100 g/m2.
What are the products made of?
Our scrunchies, sleep masks, and other products are made from the highest quality mulberry silk. The products are handcrafted with great attention to detail. The scrunchies are made from 100% 22 momme mulberry silk.

Are the products sustainable?
To produce 1 kilogram of cotton, 20,000 liters of water are required. In contrast, producing 1 kilogram of silk requires significantly less water, making it much more sustainable and environmentally friendly. We strive to minimize our environmental impact. Our products are 100% safe and certified. We have passed all SGS tests and examinations, and all our products are OEKO-TEX certified.
How do I initiate a return?
To initiate a return, please email us at [email protected] with your order number and the reason for the return. Please note that we do not accept returns for packages that have been opened or products that have been used. If there is a fault with the product, please make sure to send us some photos so that we can assist you to the best of our ability.
